The Vamps guitarist James McVey stars in a new PETA campaign, Save a Life: Adopt!, which emphasises the importance of adopting animals from shelters instead of buying them from pet shops or breeders.

McVey, who has a pet cat called Mickey, said 'There are millions of animals already in shelters - kittens … puppies, dogs, a variety of animals. So go to a shelter, adopt and save a life!'. Other celebrities who have supported PETA include Little Mix, Cody Simpson and Kesha.
